Whenever a creature dies with a strong power, like a strong will or a strong emotion, they have a chance of turning into a JellHead.
The power slowly "crystallizes" inside the creature, creating a JellCore. This JellCore will slowly start creating Jell that first takes over the inner body of the creature and works itself outside.
During that process, the pattern of the Hosts body slowly changes aswell, depending on the hosts death and events.
Once a creature fully turns into a JellHead, their hostsbody does not age anymore, but instead will the Jell!
The Jells colors will be the strongest when fresh but after can lose that color and glow after a good amount of years OR lack of nutrients
Ageing Jello will not only lose their color, but they will also be slower in general.
Reaction time will get worse and regeneration abilities will worsen, aswell as their amount of generated Jell.
Meaning, if their ability to regenerate gets to the point that they can't regenerate as much as fixing tiny wounds on the hosts body,
the hosts body might even start losing color and slowly but surely start rotting in a natural way.
Depending on which dies/disappears first (either the hosts body or the Jello), either the Host or the Jello may be left at the very end and slowly rot/liquify.
Dead Jello is a great fertilizer btw, at the spot the Jello dies, plants usually profit from it the most.
Depending on JellHead, the core will at one point be the only thing left, completely transparent and without color.
Natural JellCores will hardened and can be shattered easily and are also the origin of Shards that we collect to create Artificial JellHeads.
Artificial JellCores are most likely unable to turn into functioning JellHeads again.
